Creative Aurvana Ace 2 features a premium two-driver system powered by xMEMS technology, which includes 10mm dynamic drivers for precise sound reproduction across a wide spectrum. They’re further enhanced by Snapdragon Sound’s aptX Lossless technology.

Ensuring smooth communication, the earbuds are equipped with Qualcomm cVc (Clear Voice Capture) noise cancellation technology, backed by six built-in microphones for clear voice transmission.

With an IP5X water and dust resistance rating, they’re well-equipped for any environment.

The charging case supports wireless charging, offering up to six hours of additional charge, thus extending the total playtime to an impressive 24 hours.

Design and Build Quality

At first glance, you’ll notice the Aurvana Ace 2’s transparent casing, which exudes a sleek and subtle aesthetic. The see-through design offers a glimpse of its striking copper-coloured interiors, which truly shine when you open the case. However, the bold copper accents might be a bit flashy for some users.

The case features a button underneath for easy pairing mode activation.

The earbuds themselves resemble the design of Apple AirPods Pro 2, albeit with a dark transparent casing. A touch of matte copper on it adds a premium touch to its appearance.

Overall, the build quality is excellent and sturdy.

Comfort and Usability

Creative Aurvana Ace feels great in my ears and I don’t feel tired or pain after wearing it for long hours. which is a common problem of lower-end ear buds.

At only 4.7g each, the earbuds are lightweight. You only get three sizes of ear tips in the box, but I had no issues with comfort while using the Aurvana Ace 2. These ear tips are made from a soft silicone material that fits comfortably and securely.

The shape, fit, and weight of the earbuds closely resemble those of the Apple AirPods Pro 2. If you’ve enjoyed the comfort of the AirPods Pro 2, you’ll find the Aurvana Ace 2 to provide a similarly satisfying fit.

Audio Quality

The Creative Aurvana Ace 2 delivers impressive sound quality with a rich and detailed sound signature. The xMEMS solid-state driver offers full-bodied sound with good bass extension, balanced mids, and clear treble that brings out nuances in your music. These earbuds excel with rock and pop genres.

What’s remarkable is the expansive soundstage they offer. It gives you a good sense of depth, width and height in the music you’re listening to.

Additionally, the Creative app offers a fantastic equalizer feature, empowering users to customize their audio experience to suit their preferences perfectly.

Connectivity

These earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3, which supports codecs like LC3 and LE, and they’re Snapdragon Sound ready, so you can enjoy aptX Lossless for top-notch audio quality. Plus, they also support aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC support.

Most importantly, the Aurvana Ace 2 comes with Bluetooth multipoint support, you can hook them up to both your phone and laptop at the same time, and switch between them hassle-free. In my opinion, this is a must-have feature for premium wireless earbuds.

ANC mode

When it comes to active noise cancellation (ANC), the Aurvana Ace 2 can effectively reduce low-frequency and ambient noise, although it falls short of being the top performer in its class. While it’s decent, it may disappoint users seeking the ultimate ANC experience.

Personally, ANC isn’t a feature I rely on heavily, so its performance doesn’t bother me much.

Call Quality

The Creative Aurvana Ace 2 is great for on-the-go calls, boasting six microphones and Qualcomm cVc noise cancellation technology. It does a pretty good job at isolating voices from background noise, ensuring clear communication even in noisy environments. While the call audio quality may not be outstanding, you can trust that any difficulty in understanding you in a call is highly unlikely.

Wireless charging

Creative has added a delightful surprise to the mix: wireless charging for the Aurvana Ace 2. Simply place the earbuds on your wireless charger and say goodbye to the hassle of dealing with USB cables. It’s a convenient feature that adds even more value to the package.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Creative’s Aurvana Ace 2 impresses with its cutting-edge xMEMS solid-state drivers and Snapdragon Sound’s aptX Lossless technology. Despite featuring only slightly above average ANC, its sleek design, comfortable fit, and wireless charging make it a compelling choice in the premium earbud market, especially for Android users.
