The Redmi Note 12 is available in three colours: Forest Green, Matte Black, and Mystique Blue; whereas the Redmi Note 11 Pro is available in three colours as well: Graphite Gray (Stealth Black), Polar White (Phantom White), and Star Blue.

Both Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 11 Pro are the same size, 6.67 inches.

Redmi Note 12 has a 120Hz refresh rate Samsung AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1200 nits while the Redmi Note 11 Pro is using a Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness.

Both smartphones are using a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Although MediaTek Helios G96 is a powerful chip, the 12nm process means that Redmi Note 11 Pro will be less power efficient. It is a big letdown on the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G version.

The Redmi Note 12 Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 supports a 5G connection, whereas the Redmi Note 11 Pro does not.

As a whole, the Redmi Note 12 is a powerful phone, but it is also more energy-efficient at the same time.

Overall, the Redmi Note 12 is a better smartphone with a powerful yet efficient SoC and longer battery life. Its only downsides are the photos and videos are of slightly lower quality. 

Redmi Note 11 Pro has one big setback which is using the Mediatek Helios G96 chip. You should definitely top up RM100 more to get the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G version. 

Otherwise, you can just save a lot of money by buying the Redmi Note 11 instead.
