As you can see from the comparison table above, there’s no significant difference between Xiaomi TV A2 32” and Xiaomi TV P1 32” in terms of display quality. Both are 720p HD resolution and 16.7M colour depth.
But the Xiaomi TV A2 32” is priced at RM770, which is RM130 more expensive than the Xiaomi TV P1 32”, RM640. That represents a 20% price hike from Xiaomi TV P1 32”.
The Xiaomi TV A2 32” has a slightly better and louder speaker than the Xiaomi TV P1 32”, 2 x 10W compared to 2 x 5W.

The Xiaomi TV A2 43” is almost identical to Xiaomi TV P1 43” except that it is only FHD and cheaper, while the Xiaomi TV P1 43” is using a 4K display.
In addition, the Xiaomi TV A2 43″ supports Dolby Audio, DTS-X, and DTS Virtual:X Sound better than the Xiaomi TV P1 43”.
Most importantly, Xiaomi TV A2 43″ is selling for RM925, almost RM400 cheaper than Xiaomi TV P1 43”’s RM1299.
Bear in mind that, 4K resolution is not always better than FHD, it depends on the viewing distance as well as the size of the TV.

Here, I think the Xiaomi TV A2 43″ FHD is the better TV because it is much cheaper and its display quality is good enough for most people

The specifications of the Xiaomi TV A2 58″ and Xiaomi TV P1 55″ are almost the same, except that the screen size of the Xiaomi A2 is bigger. Both of them are 4K TVs and have great colours.
The Xiaomi TV P1 55″ has a slightly better colour gamut with DCI-P3 94% compared to Xiaomi TV A2 58″’s DCI-P3 90%. The difference is negligible.
Both are running the latest Android TV 10, so there’s no need for buying a TV box.
In this case, the right TV choice is entirely up to the individual’s preferences and the size of the house.

Verdict
For the 32” TV model, the Xiaomi TV P1 32” is the clear winner. Both Xiaomi TV P1 32” and Xiaomi TV A2 32” have 720p resolution and similar colour quality. So, there’s no need to pay extra, users should stick to Xiaomi TV P1 32” which is cheaper.
For the 43” TV model, the Xiaomi TV A2 43” FHD is better value for money since most of us will place the TV 2 meters apart from the sofa. And we don’t normally stream video in 4K quality either.
In the battle between Xiaomi TV A2 58” vs Xiaomi TV A2 55”, I would recommend buying the bigger Xiaomi TV A2 because both TVs have very similar hardware. In spite of this, the larger screen size often led to a better viewing experience for users.
